Hyderabad cybercrime police to lay charges in loan application cases


Hyderabad: Hyderabad Cybercrime Police will soon file indictments in a few other recorded cases regarding Chinese loan application fraud. A total of 28 cases were recorded by the Hyderabad police and 22 people, including Chinese nationals, were arrested in connection with the fraud amounting to thousands of crore rupees.

“The indictment was filed in a few cases a few weeks ago. About 3,000 bank accounts were frozen after identifying him over a period of time, ”said an official from Hyderabad Cybercrime.

Cybercrime officials are awaiting reports from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) where they submitted the seized laptops, cellphones and other gadgets to suspects arrested in the case for analysis and data recovery from the gadgets.
“After we get the content, we will submit it to the court with the indictment as evidence. Very soon, in a few more cases, indictment sheets will be filed, ”he said.
