MP CM distributes Rs 200 crore as loan amount to strengthen self-help groups
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday distributed a loan amount of Rs 200 crore to empower self-help groups (SHGs) in the state.
The Chief Minister participated in a loan disbursement program enabling SHGs in Bhopal. A loan amount of Rs 200 crore was distributed to 1.30 lakh needy families as part of the women’s empowerment program in Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, Chouhan also inaugurated the Indokh Dam project to improve the water supply to Indokh village, Ujjain.
The project was built at a cost of Rs 79.03 crore.
At the inaugural ceremony, Chouhan said, “My goal is to serve the people of this state. My government is committed to devoting itself to the cause of the people. The project will now contribute to the efficient irrigation of farms.
